Flower Girl Basket with Ribbonwork Flower and Leaves

Description

My flower girl baskets are constructed of fine quality bridal fabrics. You may choose from satin or silk dupioni in white or ivory. Other colors or fabrics may be available by request, please contact me to inquire.

The basket fromt front is embellished with hand stitched ribbonwork poppy made from imported french taffeta ribbon. I offer 41 different ribbon color choices for the flower. (Visit my website for view available ribbon colors.) The flower center is filled with a mixture of vintage stamens and wired Swarovski Crystals. The flower is clustered with ribbonwork leaves and a hand-dyed silk cording stem. The basket handle is fashioned from thread covered heavy guage wire the intertwines and ends in vine-like curls. The handle is embellished with additional ribbonwork leaves.

Each basket is made from my own pattern and completely assembled by hand and is machine and handstitched together. There is NO glue in the construction of this basket. The basket sides and bottoms have heavy weight mat board inserts that are padded to give a soft appearance while having a solid and durable construction.

The basket bottom measures apx 6"x4.5". The top opening measures apx 4"x2.5". The basket stands apx 6.5" (apx 3.5" tall without the handle).
