Number TWO of TWELVE distinct Specimen designs - reprinted and refreshed!


This is an original silkscreen print from one of my original drawings, and part of a series of chimera or animal hybrids. This creature is a cross between a koodoo (type of antelope), a shell, and some kind of oceany flower.

These are printed on poetry pages from The Ingoldsby Legends from the late 1800s. Each page is 6.75" x 9." These particular pages are deliciously decayed - you can see the brownish "freckled" look to them in the images.

PLEASE NOTE: I print these Specimens on multiple pages from the same book - so each print is slightly different, as each page is slightly different. The image in this listing is an example of one of the prints on one of the book pages; so please expect that your print will vary slightly from this example. I always ensure that the quality of the image is similar, and sometimes the book pages contribute their own special little surprises. Enjoy your one-of-a-kind Specimen!

These are mounted on matte board (fastened gently with artist's tape so you can remount if you prefer when framing). They come in a transparent plastic sleeve and a hard cardboard mailer. All Wondercabinet items are made in a clean, smoke-free environment and are shipped with care and love.
