Mercury:: the closest planet to the Sun, named after the swift footed messenger god which they equated with the Greek Hermes, because it moves across the sky faster than any other planet.

Stand out with this stunning necklace, you truly have to see it to believe it!

A 1/4 inch retaining ring above a 3/4 inch black retaining ring and a 1/2 inch retaining ring on the bottom all painstakingly wire wrapped together with 28ga silver plated wire... The innermost ring has a single 2.5mm jet swarovski bicone and a 7mm topaz swarovski teardrop dangling from the loops at the bottom, the second ring has a 10mm topaz ab Swarovski heart dangling on the bottom and the bottom ring has a 9mm topaz Swarovski teardrop to add the finishing touch, all on a silver plated bail supported by a double link silver plated rolo chain...the silver color of the wire is a wonderful contrast to the black rings and the topaz crystals add a nice splash of color. The overall look and feel of this piece is industrial with a sci fi/futuristic edge, I guarantee that you will not find anything like this design anywhere else!

I constructed this set with retaining rings that I found at Home Depot in the hardware section, when I found them my mind really started working

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and cosistancy adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look

This necklace is 18 inches, with a 2 inch extender chain, if you need it a custom length please don't hesitate to contact me!
