Antique Silver Plate Master Youth Butter Knife International

Description

Here is a lovely antique vintage sterling silver plate master butter knife. The handle features a wonderful raised floral design with flowing tendrils which extend the length of the handle. It is marked "Holmes & Edwards I S" for the Holmes and Edwards Silver Co which was bought by International Silver in 1898. It is in excellent condition with the slightest bit of wear consistent with age at the very tip and bend of the knife.

It measures 6 3/4" long and weighs 38 grams or 1.22 troy ounces. Ca 1940s. See our matching demi tasse spoons
