This incredibly long skinny scarf is knit with two different yarns held together at the same time. The solid orange yarn is a 70/30 cotton/wool blend, and the red/yellow/green yarn is 50/50 cotton/linen. The small bit of wool is not itchy and really goes unnoticed. The colors are bright, summery, cheerful, and there is lots of fringe on the ends!Due to the scarf being mostly cotton, it is heavy and will hang with more weight than a typical scarf made of novelty yarns or fluffy handspun wool. You would do best to wear this scarf doubled around your neck, or wrapped several times.
Note in the pictures that the scarf is wrapped around the display stand several times so that the entire scarf would fit in the picture. When unfolded, it is rather long and will definitely wrap around your neck several times and still be long enough to dangle to your knees.
