Sold - Urban Shibori Top

Description

This top is from my latest collection that is comprised of all shibori and rotary textile techniques. The Shibori techniques date back to the Eighth Century in the Japanese culture.

No scissors or thread was used for the entire collection just my own fabric dying and deconstructing system which makes this garment from my spring/summer 2009 collection the closest to couture, since no on garment can be duplicated.

The garment drapes beautifully on the body as is made of 100% reclaimed cotton jersey knit so it's good for our ever diminishing environment. It feels great to reclaim fashion in an innovative and environmentally friendly way!
