Made in a round shape this is a simple circle pattern.

The rug has been hand knotted using a rug making form called a toothbrush rug. This was a primitive way of making rugs using old cloth no longer suitable for other items and an old toothbrush or hand carved needle. Many folk used this technique all over the United States.

These early rug makers had it right! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Upcycle when you can.
