Look at this pretty, hand-painted sock yarn!

This is a soft, beautiful 100% wool in my Tourmaline colorway.

The colors cover all shades of the beautiful tourmaline gemstone, from pink to fuchsia to blue to green to black, with a little touch of purple here and there.

Two skeins are being offered together in this listing. Each skein weighs a full 2 oz (56 g) and contains 250 yds (228 m), for a total of 4 oz (112 g) and 500 yds (456 m). This is more than enough for an average-sized pair of ladies' socks, and probably enough for a larger size, worked in a plain stitch.

Why not splurge?

Please note: While this colorway is very similar to my previous edition of Tourmaline, it will not match the previous edition exactly, so I have dubbed it Tourmaline 2 to avoid confusion.

Please note: this wool is NOT superwash, so anything you make from it will have to be washed gently, by hand.
