Description
This ring is my own little ode to a space oddity. My way of capturing the stars in the sky and the moon in my own hands.I've domed a 3/4 inch ( 20mm) sterling disc, that I hand stamped with tiny stars and set a shimmering white 1/4 inch ( 7mm) freshwater pearl off to the side. This slice of sky is set slightly askew so that the pearl which represents the moon sits closer to the hand, and its stars orbit. The inner dome has been oxidized to create a charcoal grey night sky, and finally has been set on a sterling square wire ring shank in size 5.5.
