Tiny Teacup and Saucer, Demitasse, Souvenir, Orange, Rust with Gold

This diminutive teacup & saucer, or demitasse, was probably something that was given as a remembrance to someone special long ago. It's pretty design features hand painted flowers and leaves in dark orange and gold, and the legend "Remember Me".

The tiny cup measures a wee 1.75" tall and has a 1.75" diameter. The saucer isn't much bigger, with a diameter of 3". The cup is marked "Made in Germany" on the bottom.

The cup is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or fleabites. A small amount of the gold paint around the rim has rubbed off with age, but this is to be expected. Personally, I think it adds to the charm of this set. As I was photographing this set I noticed a hairline crack that runs the width of the saucer-no other condition problems.
