BASHERT Necklace

One of my best girlfriends back in NY taught me this ...it is a Yiddish word and is often used to describe "the soul mate that God has intended for you". A very poetic and romantic word, BASHERT is also translated as "destiny". Whether you are someone's "bashert", or you have just found your bashert, or you simply enjoy the word like I do, this simple hand stamped, hand sanded and polished heart displays a multifaceted word. It hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain.

The word "bashert" to me is like a jewish verion of "que sera sera", but with the addition that it is in God's hands.
