Hand-felted art for you to frame or sew

Description

There's a million things you could do with this gorgeous new 10" x 10.5" piece I just made. Frame it, mount it on wood, sew it into a pillow. Whatever you do, the lovely black, yellow, orange and blue color combo will look marvelous.

::::The art process:::: I hand-make the felt base from roving wool fibers through a wet felting process. When it’s dry I needle-stitch more wool into textured, raised designs. Every design is unique and straight from my idea mill.

::::Colors:::: I have tried my best to make sure the photo correctly represents the color of the wool. Etsy's photos processor seems to be bleaching out the green a bit. It's really a nice yellow-green.

::::Materials:::: Keeping it local! I buy my wool at Brooklyn’s very own “The Yarn Tree.”

::::Mounting:::: I will be picking up a shipment of wood bases (9" x 9" x 1.5") from my cousin in a few weeks. If you would like to wait, I can mount this piece then for a mere $13 extra.
