Industrial Elegance... Pluto

Pluto:: The second-largest known dwarf planet in the solar system, Like the other planets (or former planet in this case), Pluto is named for a Roman god. The Greek equivalent of Pluto is Hades

Lovely shades of blue adorn this stunning necklace… This is my tribute to poor little Pluto for the loss of its status as a true “planet”

4 retaining rings: 11/16 inch at the top, 1 inch in the center, 1/2 inch on the very bottom and 1/4 inch off to the left are all wire wrapped together painstakingly using 28ga silver plated wire to form a delicate and intricate pendant with a 9mm light sapphire Swarovski teardrop in the center offset by a 4mm sapphire Swarovski bicone to the right… On the bottom left hand side a 7mm light sapphire teardrop dangles and as a finishing touch a single Sapphire ab Swarovski heart dangles below it all. A delicate large link silver plated chain is threaded through the filigree bail at the top of the pendant… This whole set is very lightweight and makes a very bold fashion statement… Show your support of poor little Pluto, even though he isn’t a member of the Elite, we still love him!

Don’t let the fact that this item is made using “hardware” lead you to believe that it is bulky or heavy… All of my industrial elegance pieces will surprise you with how very lightweight and delicate they are!

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and consistency adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look
