It looks striking accompanied with a smaller contrasting bowl or plate. Beautiful and functional!!!!! This is a fun piece, part of a series employing cut paper shapes.
This platter was handbuilt using earthenware clay and a rolling pin. Painted with stained slips and glazed with a clear food safe glaze.
