Colorful kingfisher brooch

Description

This porcelain pin combines the graphic rectangle with the colorful face of the bird, kingfisher. This would be beautiful on the lapel of a jacket. It was hand-modeled (no molds), bisque fired, glazed, fired, glazed again with highlights and fired again. To make sure it would not be too heavy, I hollowed out the back a bit. (It measures about 2 inches wide, 1.25 inches high.)

The pin back is high quality nickel.
