electric ... tourmaline ring, size 7.5

Description

electric blue tourmaline, faceted and beautiful. i've set it among layers of sterling with accents around the edges, oxidized to highlight the detail. during fabrication i decided that this slice of tourmaline is deserving of a fitting name... like electric. so it's name is stamped on the inside of the band... our little secret.

i've been really influenced, this year especially, by the ocean, sushi, fish of all kinds.. octopi. and it's all been coming out in my work over the last year.. this is a new series where the suckers on the octopus legs, and the bright roe on top of my sushi, and the ancient ocean creatures all come together and tell their story in my work.

this ring is a size 7.5, seven and a half, but can be made slightly larger if needed.
