Francis the Grey Elephant

Elephants are symbols of family, fertility, and wisdom.

Which is a lot for a little elephant to live up to.

Francis loves his herd, and babysits his cousins skillfully. Compared to them, he feels extremely wise: Francis knows how to negotiate with monkeys, avoid crocodiles while bathing, and stir up the most soothing mud. He's a peacemaker. To Francis, one MUST be wise to make peace.

This fertility thing, though... what the heck IS that?

While Francis sorts out the mysteries of the universe, he would do well as guardian in your child's room. He would maintain the peace. He would negotiate with monkeys.

Francis stands approximately 5 1/2" tall. He's hand stitched using 100% wool felt and stuffing. He has a grey body and pale pink ears. His wide, innocent eyes are black sequins.Francis has creamy felt tusks.

Though Francis is sewn to last, he's not recommended as a plaything for infants.

Hand wash with gentle detergent ; air dry.
