[]Hanshi - Japanese rice paper commonly used for shodou. Measures approximately 10" x 13" (25.4cm x 33.02cm).
[]Sumi - Charcoal stick that is ground into water to create ink for shodou and sumi-e. It takes up to 30 minutes to grind enough charcoal into the water to create the distinctive deep, rich black.
[]Stamp pad specifically designed for hanko (a seal or chop).

Inspiration:
Would you believe the super popular Twilight series? I'm not into the vampire romance, but I have friends that are. They're fanatics of the books, and they were gushing over the latest one, Breaking Dawn. Twilight (the series and the word) seems to be everywhere these days, so why not it's complement?

Style:
Sosho is so much fun. Other than a few basic rules of shape and proportion, this style lets you do whatever you want in writing.

Like siblings, calligraphy may have the same features but in the end each piece is one-of-a-kind. As a result, the calligraphy you will receive is exclusively yours, and will be slightly different from what is pictured. I personally assure you that all of my work is made with tender love and care.

I personally package to protect my calligraphy from water damage and slight bending before it is mailed to your destination in a durable flat mailer. My calligraphy is not going to come with the awesome display frame you see in the last image. It's only for your reference and inspiration.
