japanese etch pendant on silk

Description

This beautiful sterling silver pendant has a Japanese chrysanthemum pattern etched onto its surface. The etch has then been blackened and the exposed silver sanded back, leaving it with a soft, muted finish.

The pendant hangs on a piece of deep red silk thread and features handmade sterling silver findings.

I wear one of these pieces with red silk thread regularly and am always getting comments about it.

The neckpiece has a length of 40cm (15.7") - let me know if you would like this changed. The sterling silver pendant is approximately 5.5cm (2") long and 1.3cm wide (0.5").

If you would like to change the colour of the silk thread, please also let me know. The thread wears well and can be both handwashed and even ironed.
