Lampwork Bead Sculptural Sunflower Pendant

Description

I love autumn colors. This pretty sculpted flower pendant can be simply be strung on a chain (up to 2mm in diameter) and worn as is or it can be the centerpiece for a beautiful beaded necklace.
The hole in this bead runs horizontally (from left to right) almost all the way across the back of the bead. The bead is balanced so that it will not flip over when you wear it. The back is flat and smooth and will lay nicely.
The second picture shows the bead on a 2mm cord. I like to wear these on a shorter chain choker style. It is quite stunning that way.

Colors: Yellow, Topazs, Browns

Measurements: 2" (50mm) in diameter, 3/4" thick at highest profile point

Mandrel Size: This set was made on a 3/32.

Each one of a kind piece is individually made by me, Julie Karnos, in my Belfry, Montana studio. I use a wide variety of glass including Effetre (Moretti), Vetrofond, Double Helix, and Lauscha. Each piece goes directly from the flame into a digitally controlled kiln and is annealed for strength and durability, however; please remember that these beauties are still glass. After they are annealed, each piece is individually cleaned and inspected before being offered for sale.
