I Hike (Period) Necklace

What a smart man! I love this quote and it rings so true. I have searched and traveled to many beautiful places. Finding them was not the difficult part, it was the TRULY taking them in that was sometimes a challenge. At times, it is easy to take those special places that are close to home for granted!

This is the fourth in my series of I (blank) Period. The first piece – I Run (Period) was designed after a long snowy run out Old Mission Peninsula here in Traverse City Michigan. This ‘I Hike.’ was an idea from a customer in Florida. She loved the I Run., but suggested I make an ‘I Hike’. So…here it is. I designed this piece from thoughts of a hiking trip I took a few years back in Colorado.

This piece is made from pure silver (PMC) and the hiker is hand drawn by me. The back has the words “I Hike.” It measures ¾ inch in diameter and hangs from an 18” sterling silver ball chain. I can make the chain any size you like or a leather cord, just convo me. The entire piece has been oxidized to bring out the markings.
