Here is a hand spun single ply yarn spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by cloudlover69.etsy.com . This is color "Dill Pickle" and includes shades of greens and a bit of yellow/gold. How can you not love a color called "Dill Pickle", so instead of renaming the yarn, I've kept this name. Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. The Falkland I get from cloudlover is amazing - spins like a dream for a really nice yarn!

Gauge per inch: 5.5-6
Recommended needles: 5-6 (metric: 3.75-4.25)

DK weight, slightly thick n thin so there are spots where it may venture into a thinner worsted

Hand wash cold, dry flat
