Hand Spun Single Ply Yarn

Here is a hand spun single ply yarn spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by cloudlover69.etsy.com . This is "Shipwreck", shades of deep sea blues, browns and black, with a bit of green, too. Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. The Falkland I get from cloudlover is amazing - spins like a dream for a really nice yarn!

SKEIN 1 : 170 yards, 5.1 oz/145 grams

Wraps per inch: 11-12
Gauge per inch: 5-5.5
Recommended needles: 6-7 (metric: 4.25-4.5)
Recommended hook: F, maybe G

Thicker DK weight, slightly thick n thin so there are spots where it ventures into a thinner worsted

Hand wash cold, dry flat
