ITEMS: 11 Glass Jars

CIRCA: Mid - Late 1900s

OVERALL CONDITION: All of the glass in excellent, sound, chip-free, fully-functional condition. All but one lid are in good-excellent overall condition and have very little signs of wear or aging. The exception is in acceptable condition. All advertising and maker's marks are visible and legible.

DETAILS:

1. 24 oz glass jar. Bottom embossed mark reads "Genuine Ball Sculptured Glass -- Mason Jar -- 67 -- 22". Embossed side reads "Ball -- WIDEMOUTH" and "MADE IN U.S.A." and has measures on one end and a fruit pattern on the other. Approx. 3 1/2" x 7".


2. 12 oz glass jar with aluminum lid. Bottom embossed mark reads "Genuine Ball Sculptured Glass -- Mason Jar -- 66 -- 9A". Embossed side measures with fruit pattern on the reverse. Enamelled lid reads "Wards Signature Blendette for Mini-Blending/Storage". Approx. 3 1/2" x 5".

3. 12 oz glass jar with aluminum lid. Bottom embossed mark reads "Genuine Ball Sculptured Glass -- Mason Jar -- 66 -- 9A". Embossed side measures with fruit pattern on the reverse. Enamelled lid reads "Wards Signature Blendette for Mini-Blending/Storage". Approx. 3 1/2" x 5".

4. 12 oz glass jar with aluminum lid. Bottom embossed mark reads "Genuine Ball Sculptured Glass -- Mason Jar -- 66 -- 6A". Embossed side measures with fruit pattern on the reverse. Enamelled lid reads "Wards Signature Blendette for Mini-Blending/Storage". Approx. 3 1/2" x 5".

5. Short, squat glass jar with wire-latched lid. Lid embossed with "I Vetri Di -- Fidenza -- Made In Italy -- Only Glass". Bottom reads "1/2 L -- 14 -- MADE IN ITALY". Bottom is also embossed with rib-like skids. Original gasket seal is tight and in great condition.
Approx. 4 1/4" x 4".

6. Side ribbed glass jar with aluminum lid that reads "Sprinkle in the cheese flavor! KRAFT GRATED - Whole milk American cheese with added skim milk solids - 2 Kinds. American Grated - Parmisello Grated - 10 c a bag - ALSO IN HANDY SHAKERS". Embossed side ribbed pattern with "Ball - PERFECT MASON - 8" on the reverse. Bottom embossed with concentric rings and the number 8. Approx. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".

7. Smooth, narrow glass jar with red and white aluminum lid that reads "PLANTERS PRODUCT - MR. PEANUT - REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." (The Hazel Atlas logo is also clearly printed on the side of the lid.) Jar bottom embossed with "7 - B - HA [Hazel Atlas logo] - 6741". Approx. 2 1/2" x 5".

8. Smooth, short glass jar with silver aluminum lid adorned with familiar red Gerber branding. Jar bottom embossed with "AHK [I believe this is a Kerr logo.] - S - 18 - G". Approx. 2 1/2" x 4".

9. Smooth, small glass jar with aluminum lid enamelled with "WARM TO SOFTEN - CHILL TO HARDEN - AS WITH CREAMERY BUTTER - SKIPPY - PRICE - SKIPPY MAY PULL AWAY FROM SIDE OF JAR AND APPEAR WHITE - THIS IS MERELY AN AIR SPACE" in blue and white. Jar bottom embossed with "8 - 4 - HA [Hazel Atlas logo]" - Approx. 2 1/2" x 3".

10. Glass jar with "Ball -- PERFECT MASON -- 4" embossed on side and "MADE IN U.S.A.". Bottom embossed with the number 4. Approx. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".

11. Glass jar embossed with "Kerr -- Self Sealing -- MASON" on side and stamped with "06-S" on rim. Jar bottom embossed with rings of textured dots and "4 -- S2" in the center. Approx. 3" x 5 1/4".
