She would be a pretty cool addition to your primtive, country, Americana, patriotic home decor!

This "beauty" is a weighted shelf sitter which means that she sits up all by herself. She is weighted and flat on the bottom. I used a special fabric paint on her so she is still soft and flexible.

I used dark brown sheep's wool for her hair, Americana stars cotton for her body, painted muslin for the crow and heavy cotton for her collar. I did a stitchery on her collar that says, "Freedom" and also outlined it with stitching and a huge navy blue button attached at the top with embroidery floss.

Her nose and mouth are separate pieces that are stuff and then sewn on to her face. The crow is attached with a small amount of glue. The primitive American flag is attached to a stick and slipped in behind her fingers. It is not attached and can be removed. Her eyes are sewn on buttons.

The crow has tiny rusty bells as eyes that are sewn on.

This prim doll is handmade by me, using a pattern from "You Are Special". She measures aprox. 14" wide and 10" high.

Entire doll, flag and crow have been coffee stained.
