Moss for your Wall 6, (5 inch)

Description

This moss is inspired by the moss I find here in Oregon.

This lightweight piece consists of a 5 inch wooden embroidery hoop that I stained with some lovely walnut ink and medium gray cotton fabric. I then needle felted moss in three layers onto the fabric: dark chocolate brown, dark green, and chartreuse green. I then securely glued the fabric to the inside of the hoop with craft glue.

PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE JUST A BIT MORE OF THE GRAY FABRIC THAT I USE FOR MY "FOR YOUR WALL" PIECES...AFTER WHICH I WILL BE USING A DIFFERENT, BUT SIMILAR FABRIC.

Each is one-of-a-kind.

The Moss Collection is made using the needle felting process. The "moss" is needle felted into each piece. I take care to securely felt the "moss" into my products; however, the "moss" is quite fragile when tugged and may come apart. Normal gentle use will not be a problem (for example, I can hold the pincushions by one thread of the moss), but rough use or if your young child gets a hold of it may (trust me on the latter, I know). Please keep this “Moss for your Wall” from small children.
