ABSTRACT
Sometimes you want to get a little something special for your pet to wear. Maybe like me, you live with someone who won't let you dress up your dog. Here's a way to dress up your pet's collar - a personalized engraved collar charm with the words of your choice.

Those flimsy aluminum engraved tags from the pet store get worn out and become unreadable and don't often have any fun designs. Instead, let me make you a solid, easy to read, simple but pretty tag for your furry friends.

You can also wear this yourself as a pendant or put it on a charm bracelet, so let's work together to create the design.

I made 50 of these tiny charms for The Amanda Foundation's Fundraiser - they are really light and adorable.

MATERIALS AND METHODS
A handcut piece of sold copper sheet metal is hand stamped with steel stamps, filed to remove sharp edges, then oxidized and polished to bring out the letters and make them easier to read from a distance. The metal is hammered for strength and will not easily bend.

The tag pictured measures approximately 5/8 inches across (~1.6 cm). On this tag size I can fit 6-7 letters in either my small or medium size font, or 1-2 design symbols alone.

I will contact you to verify the design requested. I'll make your tag once I have received confirmation that you're happy with the layout.

NOTES

I cannot stamp on both sides of the metal since the impression is deep and will show through on the other side. This size tag will only fit a word and a symbol. If you need an ID tag for your pet, please order the 1" round tag instead, or one of the square or rectangular tags:

--Choose a decorative symbol -- star, heart, plant, circle, flower, diamonds, paw print, om, paisley, lightning bolt, atom symbol, sun, spiral, evergreen, maple leaf, skull and crossbones, baseball, tiny star, tiny asterisk

--Do you need a split ring to attach this to your pet's collar, or a jump ring if you're going to wear it as a pendant or bracelet charm?
