ORIENT EXPRESS Mystery Earrings
Description
It was early June in 1883 that the first 'Express d'Orient' left Paris for Vienna. Renamed Orient Express in 1891 the original route ran from Paris, to Romania, to Vienna and finally Istanbul. It was during one of these treks that a mysterious murder took place nearly baffling Agatha Christie's fictional Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. This pair of earrings featuring an advertising poster pays homage to the train, the detective, the author, and the intrigue. A perfect accompaniment to the bracelet also offered in my shop.It comes on the backing shown and professionally sealed in a cellophane envelope ready to delight your favorite fan of mystery, murder, and intrigue!
NOTE: Each item I offer is an individually handcrafted, miniature work of art and should be treated as such. Plastic charms, though coated with four layers of acrylic sealer are not waterproof, and because they are plastic should not be exposed to heat, steam, fire or flame. Do not wear in the bath, sauna, or when involved in sports.
