Caramel Leather Journal - classic handbound blank book

Description

This stylish leather journal has a stiffened brown leather cover. Inside there are 320 blank white pages, and there are about 20 sheets of off-white mulberry paper scattered throughout the book. To finish it, there is a pewter-coloured clasp and leather closure strap on the fore edge.

This handbound journal is bound using a traditional method of sewing onto tapes, then backing and rounding the spine. After the sewn pages are prepared, the textblock is given a leather cover that is stiffened, yet still a bit flexible. This book will open flat.

There are 320 pages (when you count the front and back of each sheet) of blank, white paper. Mixed among the white pages, are about twenty sheets of off-white mulberry paper with shaggy edges.

Book size is 6" x 5½" and 1" thick (or 15.5cm X 14cm X 2.5cm).
