Description

Bird of Paradise – A rich and exciting drawing with colored pencil, water colors, and gold ink, of the ancient scenes and symbols of the Jewish people. While palm trees shade travellers at the well, the “seven fruits” of the ancient land (figs, grapes, pomegranites, dates, wheat, barley, and olives) fall as gifts from heaven. Fields of the Land of Milk and Honey, and welcoming "Birds of Paradise" gates of community provide a background of peace and bounty. Sample with traditional Aramaic text.
