Bonsai Leaves and Texture Sterling Silver Necklace
Description
Delicate little Bonsai leaves are pressed onto a sterling silver disk. I hammered the negative space to give it an interesting and pleasing texture. The silver is then given a patina and then highlighted to accent every little vein and hammer dimple. A silver jump ring is soldered on for strength and then the piece is burnished to a high shine. In the picture it looks like there is blue on the pendant but it is just a reflection of the sky.This beautiful 1 1/4" round pendant is one of a kind, it can never be exactly duplicated as the leaves are destroyed in the imprinting process.
Real Bonsai leaves are collected from real bonsai tree clippings, these are from an Elm. Bonsai Leaves pendant is packaged in a gift box. The chain in the picture is a 16" sterling silver flat cable or I have an 18" SS Box Chain- specify which you'd prefer at checkout.
