Handmade Art Doll with Embroidered Skirt in Reds and Pinks
Description
This doll is about 5 or so inches high. She has been hand-sculpted by me without the use of molds, from polymer clay. She has been painted with acrylic paints and sealed with a satin varnish. Like all of my dolls, she has been jointed at the shoulders and hips so she can move her arms and legs.This particular doll has an antique-style face paint with an Asian feel. Her bodice and sleeves have been made with gorgeous Japanese chiyogami (or yuzen) paper. Her skirt is made from felt and is embroidered by hand, as well as having antique gold-tone beads used as an accent.
