We're in the desert and in summer, this is

one harsh place. The star we love, that gives so much,

becomes THE SUN here and now, takes, destroys, kills.

Humans weren't meant to live here.

But some do. Silly, silly humans.



The Anti Summer 2009 poppet is an unnumbered limited edition

available only this summer.

Poppets are cast in resin and marble dust. They are two inches tall, even standing on their toes, though we're still not actually sure Poppets have toes.(Lisa won't tell us.) Poppets are hand-painted so that each is slightly different.


Poppets are sweet and sometimes just a little creepy.

Poppets are always watching.

Poppets are made with love.
