Description

Great pair of vintage lace up oxford shoes in a dark tan. This style is a classic that is still popular today. Condition is good to very good. In essence, they look like they were barely worn though there is some minor handling wear and a couple of scuffs on the suede leather. Soles are clean and hardly scuffed. They are the flat soles versus the scored ones found today.

Marked on the insole G.H. Bass, on the inside back heel Leather Upper Bal Man Made Mtl. Marked on the bottom Bass Made in USA.

Labeled size is 7.5 SS - generally indicating a Narrow width. To be sure of fit, please check measurements below:

Insole heel to tip of pointed toe - 9 and 5/8 inches
Widest part of ball of foot - measured from the outside - 3.25 inches
Heel height - 1 to 1.25 inches. Back end of heels are lifted slightly off the horizontal by about 0.25 inches.
