Moving Elevator Necklace
Description
**Trivia Question**What world famous hotel is my Elevator Necklace being modeled at in the photo on the right? Read on to find out!
***********************************************
This necklace features an elevator that really moves!
Simply pull up on the filagree silver knob and the elevator glides up to the top floor revealing the woman's shoe department underneath.
Gently push it and the elevator goes back down.
This design was inspired by the days when a shopping trip to the city was a grand affair. Women 'dressed to the nines' and elevators actually had operators.
The adorable 'elevator operator' in this necklace is Johnny Roventini, the Phillip Morris Bell Boy from the 1940's Phillip Morris ads.
The back of this necklace features a vintage photo of Macy's in New York.
Made from sterling silver solder and hand cut glass.
(Complimentary chain is included, but is not sterling silver.)
***********************************************
Did you guess the hotel?
It is the historic Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco. My model,Danika, is posing with one of Sir Francis Drake's distinctive bellman.
