Who's this? Why Miss Marmee Bumbleroot, if you please! She just popped in from the garden to have her photo taken. Don't you love the way she's placed the little pansy in her fur? It's strawberry season here so Marmee has been helping with the jam-making and is eager to travel to your house to help with upcoming raspberry season. (She likes to dine upon them with vanilla cream and toasted almonds so please have some on hand!)
Marmee Bumbleroot is a mere 6 inches tall and completely handsewn from vintage German rayon that I have over-dyed and gently aged for a more cozy look. Her eyes are lovely shining blown glass and she has been hand-coloured to achieve her unique look.
She is filled with hypoallergenic fill as well as some sterilized coarse sand so that she feels nicely weighted in the hand. Hes arms and legs are thread jointed using extra strong teddy-making thread and her head has a wobble joint for easy posability and sweet expressions! Her ears are also wired so she can achieve different looks. Those whispy whiskers are real donkey tail hair (All washed and sterilized, of course!) donated by my little donkey, Eeyore.
She wears a hand-dyed cotton lace scarf adorned with a glass button. The pansy on her head is handsewn from tinted silk ribbon and is removable (as is her scarf). Miss. Bumbleroot will arrive snuggled in her own little quilted sleeping sack and signed SweetSouls hangtag with her photo.
