Underwater Flower Dangle Earrings
Description
I handcrafted my Underwater Flower Dangle Earrings, which hang 1.5 inches from the lobe from gold-toned French hooks, by creating small (1"x.8") hexagon resin pendants. Within the layers of resin I embedded coral-colored fabric flowers--the blacks of which protrude slightly from the resin. I allowed the air bubbles to remain within the resin in order to create the effect of flowers submerged in water. As you can see from the photos, as the light hits the resin, which dries to a glass-like appearance, the front of the earrings look different depending on the angle.Added on Oct 26, 2009
