Freedom ceramic sparrow pendant SALMON

"But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired."

Taken from Isaiah 40:31 (amplified), this verse inspired me to make this pendant. Over the past two years the Lord has been setting me free from fears I had lived with my whole life and just thought were "normal worries". When He first began to do this work I was sitting in the car while my hubby was driving down the highway. As I sat there talking to my Daddy God about my fears, He caught my eye with a hawk soaring high in the sky. To soar...that was freedom. I would envision myself with my arms outstretched...flying...free!

Choosing to live in this new-found freedom can be a challenge. Just this week I was struggling again with the "normal worries" of life. Then I realized...am I going to choose to worry, or choose to believe? It's a daily process, but our God is faithful! Thank you JESUS! Thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning.

This ceramic pendant was stamped, fired and glazed by myself. It measures 1 inch x 1 inch and is strung on a chocolate brown and pink ribbon.
