Lena Quilted and Beaded Bag with African Fabrics

I've used 17 beautiful fabrics from Africa in the Lena bag, crazy pieced, and quilted in an allover feather design with blue thread. I've wanted to use this fabulous long brown and clear beading for some time now, and this is the perfect bag to show it off.

The Lena is lined in a white cotton, has warm and natural cotton batting, and three inside pockets to hold your glasses, ipod, or cell phone. I've also included a fabric loop for hanging your keys if you like, and plenty of room in the bottom for the rest of your gear.

My pieced and quilted bags are built for a comfortable, casual lifestyle, are roomy and close easily and securely with a gentle tug on the straps. They travel comfortably on shoulder, back, or handheld.
