45 big magenta beads

Here are forty-five oddly-shaped, magenta colored, vintage plastic (?) beads. Totally 80's.

These beads are mostly round, but they have been pinched in on two sides. Each bead is very smooth and is made of plastic, though they feel really nice, not cheap at all.
They're awesome.

These are from my grandma's attic, so I believe they're fairly old. And like all old things they're not new-out-of-the-box perfect.

They appear to be colored by a coating over a grey plastic, and I can see a few beads where this coating has a chip, or looks kind of thin (you can kind of see what I mean in the last photo).

Each bead is about 1/2 inch big, roughly the size of large blueberries.

I don't know much about jewelry or beads, so I'm not sure if I'm omitting anything helpful . . . if you have other questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer you.

These could be nice as embellishments, or for use as sewing trims. Of course they'd be great for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, or whatever else you come up with.
