letterpress card set - starburst

Description

This listing is for a set of three folded cards with envelopes. Card size measures 4 ¼ in. x 5 ½ in. when folded and is printed on 110lb. cotton letterpress paper. This paper makes a beautiful impression. There is space for you to write your message inside the card.

These starburst letterpress cards are made using antique type set by hand on my 1930's era Vandercook proof press. This card was run through the press five times and features four hand-mixed inks in blues and red and blind embossing. Each print is inked and cranked by hand on my human powered press. In addition, each card is initialed and numbered on the back.

There are 100 prints in this limited edition, no more than 75 will be offered here. This pattern will not be printed again.
