Quilt Star -- Stained Glass Clock
Description
Growing up in the country, I was surrounded by beautiful works of folk art, including the elaborate quiltwork done by the Pennsylvania Dutch. The muted colors and intricate geometric patterns have always stayed with me, and occasionally find their way into my stained glass designs.In a departure from my normal themes, this 8" square stained glass wall clock is done in soft blues and slightly iridecent white, against a richly textured clear background. Clear round nuggets accent the corners and catch even the smallest ray of light. Brass hands keep time while providing even more shine.
Runs on one AA battery (not included). Quartz movement adhered to the back includes fixture for hanging.
This would a lovely piece to hang in a quaint farmhouse or guest lodge for that old-fashioned touch.
