Bronzed Robin's Bird Nest Hair Pins

A bronzy mother robin with her dainty nest, complete with shimmery, turquoise eggs.

This adorable set of pins is made completely of polymer clay (a durable, plastic compound) and has been brushed with a shimmery, bronze mica powder for a truly special effect. The mother robin has been made from my own custom mold, then further carved for additional detail. The nest is also made from a mold, which I created from a tiny nest I wove together using aspen wood fibers. I further shape and form each nest, and hand-form the eggs as well. They are sealed with a gloss acrylic. The pair are securely attached to frosty chocolate-colored bobby pins. These look especially lovely nestled in a romantic updo hairstyle. If you prefer, the set can come with two bird nests instead of one nest and one bird (see last photo) or two birds. Specify your request in the "Message to Seller" box of the invoice when checking out.

Pins measure approximately 2" in length; the nest measures approximately 3/4" in diameter; the little bird is about an inch long. They will arrive beautifully gift boxed.
