Black Bear Symbolic Fetish Totem Animal Pendant with Earrings and Matching Note Card

Artwork on this pendant represents art from a print I did titled "Black Bear - West" whose description appears on the back of the accompanying notecard which reads: "The Black Bear was inspired by Zuni Indian fetish animals. The Black Bear is guardian of the direction West. West is associated with the element Water symbolized here by the sea in the background and by its alchemical symbol, an inverted pyramid. The West is also associated with the season Autumn, the time of day twilight or sunset, and the Water element zodiac signs which are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces."

The artwork on the pendant is taken from an original print I did. The pendants are each individually handmade, they consist of artwork that has been laminated and securely affixed to hand made polymer clay backs, the artwork is framed with black glitter that is securely held in place with art glaze. They are one sided and have black backs stamped with "3Cats" which have been glazed. Pendant artwork measures approximately 1 1/2" wide x 2" tall excluding the Czech glass bead drop which adds about another 5/8" to the length. Pendants are strung on a piece of 25" nickel plated ball chain which can easily be shortened to any length.

The accompanying earrings feature Jet Czech glass beads and measure approximately 1 1/8" from their silver plated French hook wires.

Pendants & earrings will arrive at their destination in a gift box.

Note card artwork is color laser printed on 67 lb. acid free cover stock. The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and comes packaged in a protective plastic sleeve. Card inside is blank and it comes with a white envelope.

The ghosted watermark does not appear on actual prints.
