Katia Shawl

Description

This gorgeous Shawl is hand knit in Katia Aspen yarn.

This yarn has a variegated gauge, running from sport through to unspun super chunky. Contrary to the instructions on the ball bands I like to knit this yarn one ball at a time and allow the textures of the yarn to show through.

This yarn runs from white through turquoise through to deep blue and the colours and textures produce a teardrop affect, with the thicker slub contrasting in both look and feel with the finer mesh.

This shawl will fit a size 10/12 UK.

The shawl is fixed with a wooden shawl pin and brooch which are included in the price.

This would look great over jeans for a casual look or over a winter coat for extra warmth.

Material 100% wool.
