Marquee Lap Quilt
Description
Over 15 fabrics (OK, 18) in prints of yellow, red and turquoise were used to highlight 25 tangerine squares. The prints were cut in uneven widths, lending movement and harmony to the solid orange. The large squares are quilted with a double lotus design in turquoise, while the smaller ones have a single lotus blossom. The back is solid royal blue, a pleasant surprise and contrast to the tropical colors on the front. Bound in a mango fabric with white circles, “Marquee” measures 45” x 45”. Perfect for display in the summer, and warmth and tropical dreams in the winter.Added on Oct 29, 2009
