Antique 'DeWitt' Pastel

Artist: Signed 'DeWItt'
Period:1890-1910
Total size of artwork with frame:17 1/4" wide, 21 1/2" long.
Original glass. Nothing touched, or removed.
Condition:Excellent.

Artwork is behind glass. I have been told it is a pastel. I have not taken the back appart. I am not sure if this is something I should be doing to an old framed piece. This is NOT A PRINT of any kind.

Colors used, are seafoam, dusty aqua, pink, cream white in the sky.
Trees are tones of olives and black/gray bark.
Little glimpse of the top of a cottage, in front of a lime yellow sky.
Blue green bushes,
Teal, indigo rushing stream, with white highlights.
Seafoams, olives, and chinese orange bushes, undefined, and muted.
Done primarily with a stipple brush, with finer detail applied for the cottage, and tree branches.
