Meet Melanie! Melanie loves ballet dancing, and is a charming reminder that there is always time for dancing. She has a cute flower tucked in front of her ear. You can just see her little curled tail under her skirt. Melanie measures approximately 9" high from ballet slippered foot to the tips of her ears, and 9" wide from snout to rear.

Melanie was cut out of pine by me, sanded to a soft finish and painted with a "melon" colored acrylic paint. More acrylics were added to make her flowers, gold metallic paint for her ballet slippers. She was then sealed with a glossy acrylic finish. A glass flower was nestled in front of her ear and glued in place then glazed over so it won't fall out. Her skirt is made of pink flower embellished tulle, the waistband is a gold lame' binding.

Melanie will arrive beautifully gift wrapped, ready to give as a gift to someone special, or treat yourself!
