Sonic Youth Poster Chicago 2009
Description
This is a 4 color screenprinted poster commissioned by Sonic Youth for the June 27th show at the Vic in Chicago. The poster is 19 x25 inches on Speckeltone #80 Heavy stock and is signed and numbered in an edition of 170. Most of the edition went to the band and sold out at the show, so I have approx 30 or so left to sell.technical note: The print features 3 split fountain layers including a metallic silver to gold split.
The imagery comes from a series of drawings I am working on, this is the "Monument Recovery Technician", one of them anyway... It seemed to fit great for Sonic Youth.
