Purse or Pouch, The Chariot

Here is one more of the creations between Etsy artist, Judi Kickel of www.MiBolsa.Etsy.com, and myself, Sarah Schantz of www.AnangkaArts.Etsy.com. The symbiosis is called "Magick Fabric" and along with the array of pillows and eye glasse cases, we introduce this new purse/pouch featuring my collage, "The Chariot" from the Tarot Collection I am currently working on. It is out just in time for the astrological pivot of Cancer, the Zodiac symbol most associated with this Major Arcana card. A fantastic gift idea for a Cancer or for anyone embarking upon a journey, metaphorically or not--rite of passage, trip, moving away, etc.

Made entirely from designer fabric, the image of "The Chariot" itself depicts a woman, who seemingly part of the vehicle itself, floats among tranquil lillies. The colors are teal, other blues and a little copper. The image is "framed" with both heavy copper thread stitching as well as silky gray ribbon. Further accenting the art is a sheek coppery-red fabric while overall the purse is made from a gorgeous crinkley blue-grey-red material. The swath of copper fabric continues onto the back, where the label for "Magick Fabric" also resides. To close the pouch purse, is a blue zipper. The inside is white linen. There are no inner compartments and all in all the piece measures as a square, 7 x 7 inches. Not including the ribbon frame the image measures at 5 x 3 3/4 inches.

This would make for an excellent Tarot pouch or bag for magick supplies. It'd be a great case for art supplies too. It is also great for use as an inner purse, or one could even stuff it and make a small pillow.
